the dough 2.25 cups of flour 2.25 cups of bread...

the dough

2.25 cups of flour
2.25 cups of bread flour
1.5 packages of active dry yeast
.33 cup + 1 tbsp of sugar
1 tbsp of salt
.5 cups of water
5 eggs
1 cup + 6 tbsp of butter

mix well!

then roll out in a nice rectangle then sprinkle

.25 cup of brown sugar
.25 cup of sugar
.125 tsp of cinnamon
.5 cup of pecan halves

then roll up jelly roll style and cut into 8 equal pieces.

the goo

.75 cup of butter
1.5 cups of brown sugar
.33 cup of honey
.33 cup of heavy cream
.33 cup of water
.25 tsp of salt

heat in medium heat to melt butter + brown sugar. then mix in the rest.

once goo + dough is ready drain the goo plus .5 cups of pecan halves into a 9x13 baking pan then place the dough rolls. let it soak a bit before you place these suckers into a preheated 350 oven for 25 min. let cool and devoir!!!

HOT sticky mess buns

First up to be bubbled by my gastric juices are these sticky buns from a bakery in Boston Mass. and since theres a good chance I’ll be attending school there later this year, there is a special space in my stomach for them. The recipe came form the actual bakery’s cookbook and I highly recommend it to all as a good amount of my sweet stuff will be coming form it.

Here comes the happiness train… WHOO WHOO!

Love cake and sweets but never really made anything other than sandwiches or ez-Costco brownies…so this year gonna start baking massive amount of sweet bread before I start dental school. Lets get chunky!
